What to Expect When You Visit Liberty Hill
(Virtually or In-Person)
Welcome to The Historic Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Thanks for stopping by. This page will tell you everything you need to know about Liberty Hill and let you know what to expect if you join us online this weekend.
In-Person Worship
Worship is held every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in our Sanctuary on the corner of E. 82nd Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland’s Fairfax Neighborhood.
Online Worship
You can join us on any Sunday virtually, accessing the live service through Facebook Live. You can also worship online individually at any time with the recorded worship experiences.
What to Expect?
When you worship with us at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday, you can expect a warm spirit-filled worship experience, where you will not only experience the move of God but also gain a closure relationship with Him. Worship services typically last 90 minutes, but we are not bound by time, but by the Holy Spirit.
What should I wear?
All are welcome at Liberty Hill; many attendees wear traditional Sunday attire, but feel free to dress comfortably. In our summer months (June - September), we encourage attendees to appropriately dress down, as our facilities are not air conditioned.
Where should I park?
You can park in several lots around the Church. Our main parking lot is located directly across the street from our main entrance. There is also an adjacent parking lot located at the back of the church building, just a short walk to the main entrance, and congregants can also park on 82nd Street. We do ask that you do not block the pastor's parking spot, while parking on the street.
Where should I go in?
There is a ramp located near our main entrance for anyone with mobility challenges. The sanctuary can also be accessed via our main entrance on 82nd Street or via our (front entrance) doors on Euclid Avenue.
What about music?
Worship and Arts has always been an important part of Liberty Hill. Every worship service features a variety of worship and arts praise, including the Mass Choir, Women's Choir, Young Adult Choir, Men's Chorus, or Children’s Choir – as well as our praise dance ministry.
What about giving?
Each Sunday, an opportunity is extended in giving as a part of the worship experience. Giving is an expression of faith in our reliance on the Creator who is the ultimate provider. We believe that our gifts of tithes and offerings directly contribute to the building of God's Kingdom here on earth and our mission assignments at Liberty Hill. We recognize that worship is giving and giving is worship. We also recognize that our giving is not a debt that we owe but a seed that we sow back to the ministry.
What about my kids?
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, we host children's church for youth ages 5-12, including a youth bible discussion led by advisors at 11:00 a.m. Children also have the opportunity to participate in the children’s choir, which ministers every 5th Sunday, and rehearses the Saturday before that Sunday.
